Discover a World of Opportunities with ETSB’s International Student Program
Join a vibrant international community with the Eastern Townships School Board! Our high school International Student Program welcomes students aged 14 to 17 from around the world for immersive 3, 5, or 10-month cultural exchange experiences in the heart of Quebec. Our ISP also welcomes students aged 18+ to study in one of our Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS).
Students study in one of our dynamic high schools or vocational training centres located in Sherbrooke, Cowansville, or Richmond, where they benefit from a safe, welcoming, and technology-rich learning environment while developing their English and experiencing Canada’s unique bilingual culture.
Whether you’re a student looking for an unforgettable adventure, an educational partner seeking a trusted program, or a family interested in hosting an international student, ETSB is committed to providing exceptional support every step of the way. Our dedicated team carefully matches each high school student with a caring host family—English, French, or bilingual—based on personalities, interests, and lifestyles to create meaningful connections and a true home-away-from-home experience.
With personalized guidance, enriching school life, exciting cultural activities, and lifelong friendships, the ETSB International Student Program offers far more than an education—it offers an experience that will shape your future and create memories to last a lifetime.
