Can I get transportation for a different school than my local school?
Any student authorized to attend a school other than the one in his/her sector according to the established regulations is not entitled to school bus transportation but can request it by completing the Out of Basin form and submitting it to the school with payment. If we have a bus available on a current route, the request may be granted. If we can not grant the request, the payment will be refunded. Requests made after July 1st may not be treated until after October 15th.

Can I request a different stop?
Bus stop assignments are made in accordance with our Transportation Policy. If you believe your assigned bus stop does not comply with the policy, you may submit a request by email for it to be reviewed. Please note that requests received in August or September may not be reviewed until after October 15th due to the high volume of inquiries during the start of the school year.
See the Brochure on the Transportation Policy for more information.

What can I send to school on the bus?
Baggage must not exceed the following dimensions: 55 cm X 35 cm X 25 cm (22 inches X 14 inches X 10 inches). Balls should be kept in a bag to prevent them from bouncing around the bus. Skates should be enclosed in a canvas bag or cardboard box. We kindly ask that no hockey sticks, fishing rods, or ski equipment be brought onto the bus. If it can’t fit in their lap, it can’t be on the bus safely.
More details are available in our Transportation Policy.

How do I become a school bus driver?
If you hold a Class 1 or Class 2 driver’s licence, we encourage you to apply to join our team as a bus driver. Applications can be submitted through the Atlas platform on the ETSB website, under the Careers tab. If you do not have your Class 1 or 2 yet, both the Centre de formation en transport de Charlesbourg (CFTC) and Centre de formation du transport routier (CFTR) offer full training.
