Archives Mandate

The Archives Act and the Act Respecting Access to Documents Held by Public Bodies and the Protection of Personal Information, state the obligations in the structuring and management of documents within school boards.

Therefore, the Eastern Townships School Board (ETSB) Archives Centre is responsible for :
– The records classification plan
– The records retention schedule
– The management of the destruction of documents to ensure their confidentiality

How to Proceed to Have Access to a Student’s Records

A student who is still attending one of our ETSB schools must:

Go to the MOZAÏK portal.

A student who has left an ETSB school during the current school year, or who has left such a school within the last three years must:

Contact the secretary of the school most recently attended.

A student who attended an Adult Education Centre or a Vocational Training Centre must:

Contact the secretary of the Centre attended.

A student who has left an Eastern Townships School Board more than three years ago must:

Complete the Request for student records form by following the instruction, then sign the form and return it to archives@etsb.qc.ca.

A student who needs a copy of his diploma or transcript must:
